Jøtul Fusion Technology

Jøtul Fusion™ technology integrates a unique combustion chamber with automated air control, eliminating the need for a bypass

The solution to catalytic problems
Our award-winning, patent-pending Jøtul Fusion™ technology combines a unique Jøtul High Flow™ combustion chamber with a secondary combustion baffle and automated secondary air control. The result is stoves that do not require a bypass and have only a single air control lever for ease of use. The lack of a combustion chamber bypass allows the F 500 V3 Oslo and F 445 Holliday to operate in clean combustion mode 100% of the time.

Durability of the combustion chamber
The design and structure of the Jøtul High Flow™ combustion chamber allows for expansion and contraction of the material during thermal cycles to prevent distortion. It is also constructed of Fecralloy, a ferrous chromium alloy with a high melting temperature. The Jøtul High Flow™ combustion chamber is backed by Jøtul's 20-year combustion warranty covering defects in workmanship and materials, one of the best in the industry

Ease of use
Our Jøtul High Flow™ combustion chamber creates minimal resistance to flow, eliminating the “back-blast” and draft sensitivity that are common with traditional catalytic stoves. Without clunky or complicated-to-use bypass mechanisms, our Jøtul High Flow™ combustion chamber allows our F 500 V3 Oslo and F 445 Holliday to operate in “clean burning” mode 100% of the time.

Clearances to combustibles
The lack of a bypass damper has allowed our F 500 V3 Oslo and F 455 Holliday to maintain industry-leading fuel clearances.

Emissions & Efficiency
With growing interest in peak air emissions during wood stove start-up, we proudly claim that our Jøtul Fusion™ technology provides the industry's lowest first-hour emissions profile for our F 500 V3 Olso. With an average efficiency of 78.4% GCV and a low emissions rate of 0.5 g/h, our F 500 V3 Oslo is one of the cleanest and most efficient wood stoves on the market.
